- SENDING FROM CONNECT (or MACNet) TO DASnet/Internet

- In order to send mail through the DASnet gateway, the following
- address scheme must be used. In the "To:" field, type DASNET. In the
- first line of the text field, type the DASnet address enclosed in
- quotes, followed by @DASNET.

- Subject: Your Subject

- "username@jupiter.ucsc.edu"@DASNET

- SENDING FROM Internet/DASnet TO CONNECT (or MACNet)

- The machine name for the gateway to CONNECT is DCJCON. The user
- >From another network would address his message as follows:

- LIMITATIONS

- 1. No error messages are given if your mail is incorrect in any way.

- 2. You cannot send any enclosures; the gateway is for electronic mail
- only.

- delivered, or not delivered.
